IACA President addresses industry representatives in Cairns/Gimuy

The Indigenous Art Centre Alliance (IACA) President, Solomon Booth of Moa Arts, presented at the Curators' Symposium a few weeks back, in Cairns; thank you to organisers, Cairns Regional Council's Creative Life team. He spoke of the important role IACA plays growing and supporting the Indigenous Art Centres of Tropical North Queensland and the broader sector.

Solomon also spoke of the key role our artists play in preserving culture, as the backbone of the arts, and how Indigenous and traditional governance models need to be adopted throughout the Indigenous art sector. He also mentioned the need for stakeholders in the space to work more closely together in the future.

Like Indigenous art of Queensland, IACA too has a bright future ahead!
