The first conference of the year for IACA members involved an extraordinary cultural exchange between the Indigenous artists of Far North Queensland and the Aboriginal artists of Arnhemland. IACA members travelled to Yirrkala to visit Buku- Larrnggay Mulka Art Centre where everyone was able to learn from this highly successful art centre. Arts workers took our members out on country to see the bark cutting and preparation of bark for painting. Members were also invited to traditional ceremonies and activities, as well as sharing their own art centre stories and hearing from a range of inspiring speakers around the theme of "Energising your Enterprise".
