'Belonging' Exhibition Preview Projection

11-14 July 2019 IACA proudly presented the 'Belonging' Exhibition Preview Projection

Coordinated by IACA and scheduled to coincide with CIAF 2019, the event was held at Wharf One Café on Trinity Wharf Cairns City.

This free projection event curated by Glenn Iseger-Pilkington, offered viewers a sneak peak into the highly anticipated, ground-breaking exhibition Belonging, Contemporary Indigenous Art from Far North QLD officially launching in 2021.

Behind the scenes images of IACA’s Belonging project were displayed inside the venue simultaneously with select artwork images projected outside onto the side of the building, trees and footpath. The projections continued every night during the week of CIAF to the delight of many passers-by, especially children who couldn’t resist interacting with the vibrant visual installation.

The Belonging project is funded by the Federal Government's Indigenous Languages and Arts program.
